The Role:

We are looking for a Supplier Operations Analyst to join our ARI (Availability, Rates, and Inventory) team and support our fast growth. This is a key role with management-level visibility in an area critical to the performance of our business. This is a large impact position for someone who exhibits intellectual curiosity, rigor, and a capacity of execution to tackle some of the most critical challenges for the business.

Reporting into our Supply Analytics function, you will work cross-functionally to monitor, maintain, and analyze the performance of existing supplier metrics, and proactively identify technical solutions to improve integration quality and performance. This role has broad strategic responsibilities, an opportunity to directly influence the trajectory of the business, and significant growth potential.

In this role you will:

  • Monitor and analyze the availability and performance of Hotel Engine's various suppliers
  • Identify and escalate technical failures as well as issues with availability, rates, taxes & fees, or content
  • Work with technical teams at partner organizations to escalate and resolve technical issues or limitations outside of Hotel Engine’s control
  • Support our product, engineering, and supplier relations team to implement new suppliers and connectivity solutions
  • Maintain a robust understanding of hotel connectivity technologies and offerings and act as an in-house expert on this topic
  • Build analyses and deliver trends, data, and market insights to drive our connectivity strategy

What we're looking for:

  • 1-2 years experience in an operational role
  • Experience in GDS and hotel connectivity
  • Experience working with data transfer via APIs
  • General understanding of 3rd party inventory mechanisms (channel managers, direct connects, DHISCO/Pegasus)
  • Comfortability with Business Intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) and some knowledge of writing SQL queries
  • Excellent communication skills both in written (memos, emails, decks) and verbal form
  • Proven ability to self-sufficiently navigate projects, collaborate with others, and report on progress
  • Ability to operate effectively and with autonomy in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ownership
  • Track record of rigorous execution and high impact
  • Highly detailed-oriented and exceptional organizational and follow-through skills is a must

Cash compensation: 

  • The base salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000/year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above.
