This is a Contract position through Upwork’s Talent Innovation Program (TIP). Our TIP team is a global group of professionals that augment Upwork’s business. Our TIP team members are located all over the world.

Work/Project Scope: 

• Be the strategic partner to Upwork Client Growth team, work closely with product managers, engineers and UX designers to help make data-informed decisions to improve the client sign-up journey at Upwork;
• Define the business metrics, analyze user behavior, track its performance, and identify business opportunities;
• Help design the A/B tests,  and analyzes the experimentations to optimize the landing page experiences
• Develop frameworks to answer key business questions. Tie data to business needs creatively and proactively to solve complex problems
• Effectively present the findings to different audiences in oral and written languages

Must Haves (Required Skills)

• SQL (advanced)
•  2+ years of experience in analytics
• Basic working knowledge of statistics
• Experienced in visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI
• Strong critical thinking skills and a curiosity to tackle challenging problems
