We are looking for an Analyst for our Customer Insights & Analytics team who will help us communicate Grand Rounds Health's value to our customers. We are looking for someone who can dig into data, think quantitatively and strategically, and step back to analyze the big picture impact we have on our customers. The ideal candidate is mission driven and looking for a chance to develop a wide range of analytic skills while tackling new, unanticipated challenges.

Duties will include developing analytical report packages to support our business review meetings with customers, working with our Customer Success team to answer ad-hoc reporting and analytic requests, and partnering with the rest of the Insights & Analytics team to improve our value reporting. The position requires strong analytical ability and a strategic mindset, but also the ability to communicate effectively and comfort working with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

    • Serve as an analytic resource within the Customer Insights & Analytics team, supporting our customers by creating and delivering analytic results packages to show Grand Rounds Health’s impact using the data available to us (e.g., health care claims, eligibility, internal product data, etc.)
    • Execute, QA, and deliver analytics and analyses generated in support of value reporting to Grand Rounds’ customers
    • Work with the Insights & Analytics team and other groups within Grand Rounds Health (Product, Engineering, etc.) to resolve key data blockers that may limit the ability to deliver on analytic requests
    • Translate findings of complex analyses into actionable recommendations for customers, and support our Customer Success team in delivering those results during customer meetings
    • Support a number of Grand Rounds Health customers by providing analytic support on the customer team

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1-3 years of experience working with various types of data including (but not limited to) medical/Rx claims data, eligibility data, and survey data
    • Experience creating thoughtful analyses leveraging healthcare data and presenting the results to key stakeholders
    • Basic understanding of key analytic methodologies, preferably within healthcare (e.g., matched cohort studies, longitudinal impact analyses, risk adjustment, etc.)
    • Proficiency in SQL, Excel/G-sheets, and Powerpoint/G-slides, and visualization of data
    • Preference for experience with at least one statistical programming language or package (e.g. Python, Stata, SAS)
    • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new analytical approaches
    • Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with peers, customers, and other key internal and external stakeholders
    • Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced, changing environment
