About this role:

We are looking for a Senior Manager for our Insights & Analytics team who can lead and grow a team of analysts focused on developing new analytics to measure the impact of our products. The ideal candidate has the ability to lead and influence teams, is able to collaborate and work closely with groups across Grand Rounds Health, and has a high degree of comfort with developing advanced analyses using complex healthcare and product data.

In this role you will be called upon to wear many hats. Duties will include proactively identifying areas of focus for value analysis at the company, managing the career growth of a team of high-performing analysts, and participating in the broader leadership of the Insights and Analytics team. The position requires superb analytical ability and a strategic mindset, but also the ability to communicate effectively and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

    • Manage and grow a team of high-performing analysts, looking for opportunities for team members to expand their skills and impact in the organization
    • Provide thought leadership and help guide the team objectives
    • Impact the way in which we communicate value with key insights distilled from analysis of claims data, product data, eligibility data, and other sources
    • Identify opportunities for enhancing the value story we tell through reporting (novel analyses, understanding the key business questions customers are asking, etc.)
    • Work with key teams throughout the company (e.g., Engineering, Quantitative Research, Data Science) to enhance our partnership and improve our ability to use data to measure value
    • Manage workflow, look for process efficiencies, and assist in setting team objectives 

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree with at least 7-10 years of experience in healthcare and data analytics; relevant advanced degree a plus
    • Experience managing a team of 4-6 staff, including setting team priorities, helping manage workflow, coaching and mentoring staff, and proactively identifying professional development opportunities for your team
    • Experience with developing thoughtful analyses and business insights from various types of source data (claims, call, EHR, survey, etc.)
    • Expert level proficiency in SQL, GSuite, and experience with Python
    • Experience with advanced data visualizations and analytic methods (e.g., matched cohort analysis)
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to tell a compelling value story with data
    • Exceptional written and verbal skills to communicate with peers, executives, and other key stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects
    • Comfort with ambiguity, significant autonomy, and a fast-paced, changing environment

This position will be a full-time, remote position and can be located anywhere in the U.S.
