We are looking for a high performing, results oriented individual to join our FP&A team! The Financial Analyst will be responsible for a variety of efforts to continuously drive and improve data driven decision making, financial planning, analysis and reporting at Huntress. This includes periodic reporting of financial results, forecasts, the bi-annual budget process, variance analysis, data consolidation, dashboard building, and cohort analysis.

Working with the FP&A Team, this role will provide guidance and analytics to support key decision making in order to help ensure Huntress’ objectives are achieved with a strong focus on SaaS metrics. Initial responsibilities will focus on providing detailed financial and operational reporting and enhancing/creating departmental key performance indicators (“KPIs”). This position will interact closely with the VP of Finance, FP&A Team, Accounting Team, and other department heads. This is an excellent role for an individual to make a meaningful impact on a business by working one-on-one with business leaders and finance management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and tracking SaaS and other relevant business metrics that help drive business success
  • Assist with the preparation of the detailed budgets and forecasts, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet projections on a monthly basis
  • Assist with in-depth periodic customer analysis including revenue, bookings, net expansion, churn and retention
  • Assist with the building and maintenance of budgets at multiple levels ranging from departmental to business unit to operational sub-departments
  • Monitor and evaluate individual department expenses and identify any specific trends to assist in cost management
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret meaningful financial trends and propose action plans for improvement
  • Use broad business skills, looking beyond numbers to business trends and drivers
  • Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning, financial analysis, and data management
  • Exceptional experience with Microsoft Excel and complex data sets
  • Experience with SaaS KPIs and dashboards
  • Strong P&L background / experience along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities with demanding timeframes
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment
  • Ability to independently research and resolve tasks with minimal supervision with awareness and motivation to collaborate when necessary
  • Experience working as part of a small team with varied responsibilities and wide range of focus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Experience working in a fully remote organization
  • Experience with Stripe, Netsuite, HubSpot, and advanced F&PA tools such as Adaptive Insight or Vena

Compensation USD Range compliant with CO state regulation: $75K – $95K depending on experience level
