About The Role
The Transportation and Logistics Team is responsible for connecting and managing Veho’s network across the country. We work closely with our Client and Veho Ground Operations teams, overseeing all package movement up until the final mile delivery to customers’ homes.
The Transportation Analyst will play a key role in the expansion of the Transportation & Logistics organization and Veho’s delivery coverage overall.
This is a unique opportunity to be a leader on a new, fast-growing team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing data analytics support
- Analyzing freight volume, freight spend, and forecasting trends
- Completing lane optimization analysis
- Tracking and reporting carrier performance metrics
- Assist with pricing proposals and forecasting
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in the logistics/transportation industry or equivalent experience
- Experience in at least 3 of the following: Transportation data analytics, Forecasting, Advanced Excel/Google Sheets experience, Dashboard creation and data visualization, Supply chain data analytics
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable shifting priorities based on new insights and business needs
- Detail-oriented and an excellent verbal and written communication
- Excited to wear whatever hat is needed to solve a problem
- Loves to explore and experiment to find the best solutions
- Is a self-starter and has a desire to learn and growCollaborates effectively with other teams and functions
