About the Role
Veho uses a network of independent contractor drivers to complete last-mile package deliveries to customers. The Delivery Experience team is responsible for a) enabling Veho to grow its package delivery volume, b) identifying risks to the stability of Veho’s operations, c) establishing business standards on how Veho will manage delivery quality and d) enabling new service offerings such as ship-to-store and same day delivery. We are a highly capable, diverse, values-driven team, and we’re looking for strong candidates to help achieve our ambitious goals. 

As a Strategy & Operations Manager on the Delivery Experience team, you will be an individual contributor and develop a deep understanding of Veho’s operation and transportation network, lead projects to support the growth of new and existing clients, and improve upon Veho’s best-in-class on time delivery rate. Candidates must be comfortable analyzing data using SQL and spreadsheets to generate insights and recommendations. You must also be able to translate these into action by managing and implementing complex projects.

Role Objectives

    • Create short to medium term solutions that support the scalability of Veho’s delivery operation
    • Develop and report on metrics such as  On Time Delivery (OTD) to support various stakeholder needs
    • Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve OTD
    • Manage and improve processes to ensure we can scale delivery quality as the volume grows over 100% year over year
    • Assist in preparing for peak shipping season (Q4 Holidays)
    • Work cross functionally with various teams including, but not limited to, General Managers, Product, Client Success, and Support to ensure operations continues to meet the needs of the business
    • This role will be an individual contributor

What you bring

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience that includes project management, analytics, and/or problem-solving
    • Conducts analysis independently and translate this into clear, actionable insights
    • Leads execution of complex initiatives and processes using project management best practices
    • Can think critically about problems and priorities and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo
    • Has a strong desire to challenge themselves, learn, and grow
    • Is detailed-oriented and an excellent verbal and written communicator
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable shifting priorities based on new insights and business needs
    • Is proficient in SQL
$90,900 - $95,000 a year
This will be dependent upon a number of factors, such as education, work experience, skills and location. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401K and unlimited PTO.
