About The Role

Cloud BizOps is responsible for the cloud operational excellence from Quote to close, through the customer life cycle. As part of the Centralized Analytics team, this function lives at the intersection of cloud operations, finance, product management, and the revenue organization and serves to connect the dots cross-functionally, assist in decision making, and ensure adherence to customer contractual obligations. Partner with key functional leaders to identify our most pressing cloud business needs, conduct required analyses, and then design and implement cross-functional initiatives to transform ideas into operations with quantifiable impact on our P&L. Ideal candidate is highly analytical and a structured problem solver, results-oriented, agile, and comfortable with ambiguity.


    • Support cloud sales initiatives and ensure that the quotes meet pricing guidelines and margin expectations
    • Own pricing calculator and its maintenance, updates, and lead training sessions 
    • Analyze different discount programs at cloud service providers such as GCP and recommend options to achieve cost-efficiency
    • Work with cloud operations, sales team, and legal to ensure engineering guidelines are appropriately reflected in standard contracts and are adhered to during contract negotiations
    • Ensure Customer contractual obligations and SLAs are met 
    • Monitor adherence to contractual, environment ramp-up, and ramp-down schedules working with cloud operations
    • Provide detailed, real-time visibility into cloud operations on an aggregated and per customer basis with alerting and forecasting 
    • Perform analyses and research that help us make the right growth decisions for our long-term and short-term goals. Establish and monitor KPIs to track progress and measure success

Qualifications & Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams combining strategic thinking with tactical execution.
    • Experience in consulting, business operations, and/or business analytics.
    • Basic understanding of SaaS pricing principles; SaaS Product experience is a plus.
    • Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets skills.
    • Track record of performance in a high-growth, dynamic environment. Bias toward action with strong analytical skills and solid business judgment.
    • Intellectually curious with problem-solving orientation. Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen with the ability to apply rigorous logic and sound methods to solve multi-faceted problems. Not satisfied with easy or convenient answers.
    • Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with partners in revenue, finance, engineering, Legal, and executives. Seen as a trusted and objective advisor.
    • Experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders with demonstrated aptitude in working effectively within a matrixed team across multiple functional areas. Ability to lead without direct reporting lines.
    • Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, breaking down challenges & opportunities, formulating a strategy, developing an action plan, identifying resources, and project-managing to completion.
    • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple work streams for different stakeholders.
    • Experience doing data analysis and are familiar with reporting out of key systems like Salesforce. You can run pivot tables and more in your sleep, and like to push the extremes of what tools allow.
    • Experience with BI systems and implementation of data analysis tools a plus (e.g. tableau, snowflake, domo, looker etc.)
Compensation Information:
Lucidworks’ salary range for this position is $76,000 - $108,000 per year. This salary range may include multiple levels. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask the hiring manager about to understand in more detail. Salary is just one component of Lucidworks’ total compensation package for employees. Your total rewards package includes (but is not limited to) discretionary variable bonus, equity, top-notch medical, dental and vision coverage, a variety of voluntary benefits, generous PTO policy, various leave policies, and many other region-specific benefits.
