The Role
The Business Intelligence Analyst, Customer Success, Onboarding, and Professional Services ensures that our customers are able to leverage data through custom reporting, implementing robust analytical reports, and enabling customers how to manage and create reports. They oversee accounts after they have been closed by the Onboarding Manager - Implementation team and before transitioning to a Customer Success Manager (CSM). They will scope customer requirements and translate their needs to create custom analytics reporting, leveraging Affinity Analytics reporting features. In addition, the Business Analyst will conduct client training and enablement and act as a Level-3 resource for internal and external product questions and escalations.
What you’ll be doing
Independently build reporting and analytics dashboards in Looker to visualize transparency and insights for customers on their workflows (fundraising, deal flow, relationship insights, etc.) and self-service business intelligence
Be a subject matter expert on setting up Affinity Analytics, working cohesively with stakeholders to understand their issues top to bottom, break down those complex problems into key components, and providing timely and effective data solutions.
Own creation of custom SOW outlining timelines and expectations.
Help establish customer best practices and standards to ensure high-quality work as we continue to grow
Develop reports and dashboards from ideation through production
Validate data to ensure accuracy
Provide guidance to clients on optimizing their data environment
Perform technical and business user training
Execute complex dashboard projects independently
Liaison with our product team to present feedback or improvements to internal processes related to Affinity Analytics

Required:
Technical expertise with data modeling and database design with business intelligence software (preferably Looker)
Experience training both internal and external clients on challenging concepts to proficiency
Experience navigating and advocating for internal changes within the organization
Ability to work independently and flexibly in a fast paced environment
BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Statistics or Analytics with experience or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Statistics or Analytics
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and SQL
Nice to have
Experience in Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Private Equity, and others

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $53,000 to $91,000 USD. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
