The Consumer Solutions Business Analytics organization at Cox Automotive aspires to develop unparalleled intelligence around the ways consumers shop for, sell and own vehicles. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Senior Manager that is an experienced team player with expertise in advanced data analytics methodologies, data visualization, and project management to join the Consumer Solutions Business Analytics team. The new team member will be especially adept at building scorecards and forecast models to support critical business decisions in a fast and dynamic environment. The keys to success for this role include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders and Decision Science team to build various business forecasts.
- Gather requirements, determine data sources, review and approve methodologies, and report on data health.
- Create easy-to-use self-service tools.
- Establish project plans and data/model refresh calendar.
- Build delivery and communications plans.
- Develop a business scorecard to track progress against forecasted and budgeted goals.
- Skilled at bringing together qualitative and quantitative information and analyses to deliver a well-rounded story about our business performance, outside influences, and recommendations with next steps.
- Strong ability to translate data into captivating stories for non-technical audiences.
- Manages and executes large and complex projects from start to finish, including: data gathering, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, communication of insights and recommendations.
- Sets proper delivery expectations and proactively communicates challenges or delays.
- Exhibits strong project management skills.
- Partner with Marketing and various analytics teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and build self-service analytics tools or dashboards for easy-to-use insights by applying advanced analytics methodologies.
- Ensure data governance best practices.
- Build a strong understanding of existing Cox Automotive and agency data assets and technologies.
- Partner with various internal Ops and Reporting teams to leverage and enhance existing data assets.
- Able to perform the duties above with limited Manager oversight, proactively looking for ways to optimize existing solutions.
- Work with Manager and direct line of leadership to define priorities, must be able to deliver against business goals working both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Guide other analysts on the proper use of advanced techniques/technologies and validate their work.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree required and 8 years of experience in related field (At least 3 year experience in a management/leadership role)
- Expert SQL experience – ability to write optimized SQL code
- Moderate Snowflake knowledge – leverage queries to extract data from Snowflake data assets
- Expert Excel skills – use Excel to manipulate data
- Moderate Tableau skills – build self-service analytics tools in Tableau Server
- Google Analytics – experience using Google Analytics and Big Query
- Skilled at bringing together qualitative and quantitative information and analyses to deliver a well-rounded story about our marketing performance, outside influences, and recommendations with next steps.
- Strong ability to translate data into captivating stories for non-technical audiences.
- Manages and executes large and complex projects from start to finish, including: data gathering, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, communication of insights and recommendations.
- Sets proper delivery expectations and proactively communicates challenges or delays.
- Build a strong understanding of existing Cox Automotive and agency data assets and technologies.
- Partner with various internal Ops and Reporting teams to leverage and enhance existing data assets.
- Moderate knowledge of paid, owned and earned channel strategies, campaign measurement, and various marketing technologies for B2C and B2B.
- Exhibits strong project management skills.
Desirable:
- Advanced knowledge of marketing mix modeling and multi-touch attribution preferred.

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $116,200.00 - $193,600.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
