Role Summary
Supports the development and execution of Market Expansion Team’s RFP response by identifying and analyzing current and future opportunities and dimensioning them into actionable results. which includes but is not limited to coordination with current and future markets, strategic planning and solutioning with and internal and external partners (i.e., regulatory and government agencies, Cox Business, Residential services). May also oversee special initiatives as directed by Market Expansion Team leadership.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Support the national RFP strategic response program for MET; provides and conducts analytic efforts to support RFP responses
- Interprets operational requirements for inclusion into RFPs
- Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical procedure or cross-functional methods. Supports capability development within the delivery organization, including reviews and gap assessments, and works to source and deliver strategies.
- Conducts business impact analyses and validation studies and market research through all stages: concept formulation, definition of metrics, determination of appropriate statistical methodology, research evaluation, and final research report.
- Provides recommendations for operational efficiencies and process improvements and assists in policy development to support change initiatives.
- Works with MET Business Operations to model the appropriate response and ensure MET is operating within annual operating budgets for assigned initiatives and re-forecasts as necessary.
- Works with internal business partners to ensure RFP timelines are met or exceeded.
- Reviews, develops, reports and documents RFP practices that result in targeted effectiveness and efficiencies, to include creating playbooks.
- Provides input and recommendations regarding strategic business RFP response.
- Develops and analyzes contract compliance reporting relative to benchmarks to ensure obligations are being met or exceeded.
- Develops and implements processes and approaches for managing contract review and approval.
- Provides general support to MET leadership team.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) The right candidate could also have 4 years’ experience in a related field (i.e., data analysis, metrics, etc.) in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Preferred
- BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- Master's degree in a related discipline strongly preferred
- Experience in telecommunications or high-tech environment
