About the team & Opportunity:

Quartet is looking for a Business Operations & Strategy Analyst to partner with our Market Operations teams to measure and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our Provider acquisition and engagement efforts. This role will report into Quartet’s Operations Strategy & Enablement team and will be fully integrated into the Patient & Market Operations teams that they support.

The Patient & Market Operations teams (this role’s primary stakeholders) consist of teams that work with our Primary Care Providers (PCPs), Mental Health Providers (MHPs), and our patients. Our overall goal is to reduce the challenges that patients face in their search for care, improve speed and access to high quality care, and to make the process as seamless as possible.

Specifically, this role would primarily support the Provider Network Acquisition & Implementation team and the Provider Network Management teams within Market Operations. These teams build and engage our provider ecosystem so that patients referred through Quartet gain access to effective mental healthcare in a timely manner. 

The Patient & Market Operations teams, and in turn this role, partner with our Product, Technology, and Customer Success teams to pilot programs with Providers and Patients that inform future Product and Operations strategy.

As a Business Operations & Strategy Analyst, you will provide analysis and insights to the Patient & Market Operations teams to unlock growth and operational efficiency improvements, primarily working with the Provider Acquisition team. You will partner with other analysts to deliver on strategic business initiatives and develop a strong knowledge of our internal data systems and an understanding of how to use them to operate efficiently. You will support development and implementation of pilots and initiatives by partnering with the Product, Patient, and Market Operations teams. You will help facilitate the Provider Network Supply & Demand meetings and be responsible for helping to set and track goals across the team.

This position requires solid analytic and outstanding communication skills, the ability to collaborate with a wide variety of colleagues, experience prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment, and the tenacity to execute against deliverables in a timely, high-quality fashion.

This position will be remote, so the candidate can live anywhere in the U.S., but New York City metro area or Nashville, TN metro areas are preferred due to Quartet concentrations in these cities.

Accountabilities:

  • Support Provider Network Acquisition teams in their efforts to grow Quartet’s network as they outreach to potential physical and mental health practices (i.e., provider “leads”). This role will assist this team by:
    • Vetting and assigning provider leads to team members
    • Creating and providing support for tools they use to track progress
    • Identifying and combining duplicate leads to curate an organized supply of leads
    • Assisting with analysis of and maintenance of our network health/quality model with goals to identify new areas for growth and improve overall provider quality
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Patient and Mental Health processes in order to lead strategic partnerships and improve operations
  • Leverage available reporting infrastructure and tools (e.g., Looker BI Suite, Salesforce) to accurately reflect organizational behavior and drive better decision-making
  • Provide actionable insights (the "so what") for every dashboard created, ensuring data is put into action efficiently and effectively
  • Interface with a variety of internal counterparts to address day-to-day data- and reporting-driven inquiries, issues and requirements
  • Guide Patient & Market Operations initiatives end to end, ensuring data integrity, high-quality analysis, validation, and documentation
  • Develop and manage an analytics roadmap for the Patient & Market Operations team
  • Support Patient & Market Operations weekly meetings and goal review

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role (e.g., in a consulting or internal strategy & operations position) or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience working with business users to understand, scope, and map business questions to data that can be used to answer them, and developing answers and recommendations through analysis (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience communicating data-driven insights and recommendations, using Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides (or equivalent)
  • Ability to align and influence different teams and levels of leadership
  • Thinks both strategically and tactically; can solve for the big picture while executing against what needs to be done
  • Ambitious self-starter and appetite to learn in a collaborative, fast-paced, startup environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with health care data and the mental health care landscape
  • Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Basic BI reporting tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau) experience
