Omada is hiring a Clinical Research Analyst to join the Health Economics and Outcomes Research team. This role is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data from a variety of sources, including but not limited to clinical/EHR, insurance claims, and clinical research databases, and assisting with communicating these results via peer-reviewed manuscripts and other types of reports. This position will work alongside and assist the Principal Health Economist and reports directly to Omada’s Senior Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research. 

 

About you:

You have at least 3-5 years of experience as a data scientist, analyst, research associate etc., in an academic, non-profit, or industry setting. You are passionate about understanding the impact of digital health behavior change programs on preventing and treating chronic diseases and driving changes in healthcare delivery. You are able to work effectively as an independent contributor in a team with diverse skill sets and to clearly communicate your findings and how they fit into the bigger picture of the organization’s goals.

 

You will be successful in this job if you have: 

  • Masters Degree in statistics, data science, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field
  • Experience with statistical analytic software such as SAS, STATA, SQL, Python or equivalent for machine learning 
  • Experience with SQL
  • Extensive experience with Excel databases
  • Ability to work with data “end to end”, from cleaning to interpretation
  • 3-5 years of healthcare analytics experience
  • Experience with claims and EHR clinical data
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment as an individual contributor and as part of a team with diverse experiences and skill sets

  • Support Omada’s research program by analyzing data from a variety of sources and clearly communicating how your findings support the broader goals and context in the organization and field
  • Work individually and collaboratively
  • Contribute to studies examining the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of digital health behavior change programs for chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, MSK)
