We are looking for someone to join our Data Engineering team and be our data detective.  You will dive deep and answer questions from across the company. However, just finding the answers isn’t enough.  We need you to help others see what you see in the data with understandable explanations of your discoveries.  You will also be ready to paint the data picture of our high-level goals through detailed visualizations for the company.  You will be instrumental in helping to shape the next phase of the company’s data journey.

While you will spend most of your time with the Data Engineering team, you will be working with people from across the organization.  As you will have all the data, you will be very popular with those that have all the questions. These groups will include engineers seeking current data to enable them to make architectural decisions, account managers who need to know at a glance how their customers are doing, and executives looking into data to help drive presentations. 

What you'll do:

• You will help others in the company answer questions to guide the direction of work
• You will find insights in our data to get our customers excited about what is happening at Logikcull
• You will help build visualizations and dashboards that show our most important information in the easiest way possible.
• You will deep dive into our data to find clues to what drives our healthiest customers and what we can do to help our struggling customers.

What we're looking for (you!):

• You should have at least 3 years of experience with data analytics
• You are a data detective and enjoy exploring data using SQL in our data lake.  Your toolbelt should include everything from joins to window functions on millions of rows of data.
• You can present data through visualizations that help stakeholders understand what the data is telling us. You should feel confident using visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Quicksights, and just as comfortable creating slide shows to help non-technical stakeholders understand what you found.
• You can look at patterns in the data and build statistical models that predict that data behavior.
• You excel when it comes to testing your findings and clearly show that what you think is true is actually true in the data.
• You are skilled in programming to support your analysis with some data wrangling. These skills should include an understanding of common data tools such as Python, pandas, and matplotlib.
