In this role, you will serve as a crucial link between AcuityMD and its Customers, leveraging data analytics to help address strategic business questions and enhance decision-making. You will actively engage with our Customers to understand their unique needs, tailor data analyses to meet their objectives, and derive actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with Customers to understand their business objectives and challenges, and collaborate with the Customer to define specific data-driven questions they aim to solve
  • Work closely with our Customers to gather requirements for value-add analyses, and be able to clearly articulate the scope, goals and expected outcomes of the projects
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for Customers
  • Understand Customer needs and contribute to the development of solutions to create efficiencies within the Professional Services team
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Engineering and Customer Success, to ensure alignment between Customer needs and our product
  • Implement quality control processes to validate and ensure the accuracy of reports and analyses
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to provide relevant insights.

Your Profile

  • 3-5+ years of experience in data analytics
  • Experience working with databases and analyzing, validating, and transforming large datasets using SQL
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with Customers
  • You have an aptitude for explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide actionable recommendations
  • Experience managing analytical project, prioritizing tasks, and managing timelines
  • You pay strong attention to detail, are proactive, self-driven, and highly organized
  • Are curious and show genuine interest in learning about our customers’ science, technology, and business imperatives

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working in (or consulting for) the Medical Device industry
  • Experience with data scripting languages or statistical/mathematical software, such as Python
  • Experience with BigQuery
  • Experience creating Looker Models

You must have an eligible work permit in the USA or Canada to be considered for this position
