Data Product Manager at AcuityMD

AcuityMD is the first software and data platform designed to commercialize medical technologies and accelerate patient access to cutting edge products. We already work with some of the biggest names in MedTech, and there’s boundless opportunity for growth. We are hiring Data Product Managers to drive forward the backbone of our product, our Core Data and Algorithms roadmap.

In this role, you will build and refine AcuityMD’s data assets, products and platform. You will solve how AcuityMD obtains new data, improves quality and coverage of existing data, and transforms these data into a scalable platform that fuels our medtech specific modules. You will report to the Head of Data Product and Partnerships, and work cross-functionally with engineering, product and other teams.

Team Mission

We are building a world-class data products team to meticulously craft and deliver data assets and algorithms that enable new workflows and solve customer problems. Our data is as specialized as the MedTech products that save lives each day. Our team is the critical link between what our engineers build and what our customers need. We are looking for data driven product leaders to develop deep empathy for our users and our data, and bring new assets and algorithms to life by aligning and coordinating across technical and customer-facing teams.

We strongly encourage people of all backgrounds to apply.

  • Drive the roadmap for current and future Core Data & Algorithms at AcuityMD: understand and empathize with users and data to develop and prioritize new datasets or algorithms
  • Prototype and test new data products and algorithms with engineering and small, nimble cross-functional teams
  • Own key metrics to measure and improve data quality over time
  • Identify key weaknesses or opportunities in current Core Data & Algorithms and manage the delivery of high-quality improvements to downstream stakeholders
  • Collaborate with data, machine learning, and analytics engineers to operationalize and harden our data products and tooling, and to ensure the success of downstream stakeholders
  • Communicate the quality and value of our data assets and algorithms to stakeholders

Your Profile

  • You have built complex data products as part of a cross-functional team
  • You seek hard analytical problems and are comfortable with ambiguity
  • You have practical hands-on technical experience and use it extensively
  • You pay strong attention to detail
  • You communicate clearly and concisely, and tell stories using data

Nice to Haves

  • You have built healthcare-specific data products as part of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to map data sources, flows, points of aggregation, and exhaust, and players and incentives in a complicated ecosystem
  • Deep desire to empathize with a dataset before using it
  • You ruminate about a certain data exhaust’s possibilities or how one might generate that novel dataset
