Making it easy to live well — whenever, wherever

At Zeus Living, we believe housing shouldn’t constrain how, where, and when you want to live. You should be free to follow opportunity, curiosity, love, desire, friends, and family—and not just when your lease runs out. That’s why we’ve created a new, modern mode of housing, making it easy to live well—reliably, safely, comfortably, even stylishly—wherever, whenever.

At the center of everything we do are our people—our customers, partners, and our Zeus team. We wouldn’t be anything without them. That’s what our founders knew when they started Zeus Living in 2011, setting out to make renting a home easier. The goal then—and now—is to remove the stress of finding housing.

We’ve grown a lot since we started, and today we’re a hardworking team of creators, problem-solvers, and strategists who enjoy each other’s company and believe in what we do. Based in San Francisco and backed by Airbnb, Comcast, Bowery, and Initialized Capital, we’ve raised $90M in funding.

The Data Analyst role is an integral part of both the data and marketing departments as they will be the go-to person for the marketing/growth team that will handle their data and analytics requests, modeling, testing, and reports. The Zeus demand team is building up the infrastructure and reporting to measure, track, and optimize users by channel and campaign. This includes defining and tracking success metrics and building user funnels. This person will then use this data to determine the efficacy of marketing campaigns. This person will also support PR data requests that will be used externally. This person needs to be an excellent communicator since they will also need to apply advanced statistical methods to marketing data and be able to explain the concepts and results to the general audience. This position will report directly to the data team lead analyst and will interact with product and marketing managers.

What you'll do:

    • Work closely with the demand team product manager to create, track, and report on success metrics for the marketing/demand product teams. This includes creating dashboards and user funnels to provide insights into initiatives and success.
    • Help analyze the impact of marketing campaigns and other product initiatives on team and company OKRs.
    • Design, run, analyze, and summarize A/B tests for the marketing/demand product team. Communicate the results to a general audience and describe the impact.
    • Leverage a combination of internal and external data sources to answer marketing and PR data requests

What we're looking for:

    • Excellent communicator that can explain complex concepts to a general audience
    • Outside-the-box thinker who can solve problems in innovative ways
    • Familiarity with marketing concepts such as user funnels, ad campaigns, and attribution models
    • BS/BA in applied math or statistics plus 2+ years of experience or MS/MA in the same field with 1+ years of experience
    • Proficient at SQL R or Python proficiency
    • Familiarity with BI platform development (Looker is a plus)
    • Machine learning is a plus
