About the Role:

Imperfect is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join the Data team. You will partner closely with the Marketing team to deliver analyses and provide insights that drive business strategy and impact the entire company. This role requires a good level of analytical horsepower and interpersonal abilities to optimally analyze and tell the story behind the data. Responsibilities:

    • Provide metrics reporting, detailed analyses, and insights for strategic business initiatives, while maintaining analytics roadmap to prioritize initiatives, communicate timelines, and ensure successful, timely completion of projects
    • Work closely with key partners to identify key questions, problems, and metrics. Develop analytical frameworks to drive campaign performance and overall growth and product strategy
    • Lead cross-channel investigative analysis projects, support growth operations (e.g., segmentation, targeting), measure the efficiency of campaigns and proactively identify optimization opportunities across channels
    • Collaborate with the team to forecast performance of various customer cohorts, identify new customer segments to improve the personalization of content and messaging, and define a robust testing process to ensure accurate measurement of new initiatives.
    • Support ongoing analysis and weekly metrics to better understand Imperfect’s customers through behavioral, email, purchase, and retention data
    • Analyze metrics, such as retention, LTV, and conversion, for various acquisition channels, customer segments, and markets
    • Assist with the development and deployment of analytical tools and develop custom models to observe progress, uncover insights in the data, and automate analyses
    • Support and troubleshoot marketing analytics tools like Supermetrics and Hightouch.

Skills and Qualifications:

    • 4+ years in a data analytics role
    • Firm understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, ad trafficking, growth drivers, CAC, and LTV
    • Airtight quantitative skills including mastery of SQL
    • Experience working with large data sets and cleaning data to ensure data quality
    • Outstanding communication skills. Validated ability to transform data into a story for diverse audiences and various partners
    • Adept at turning analyses into meaningful recommendations for growth, lifecycle, product, and the overall business
    • Bonus: Proficiency with analytics tools (Segment, Amplitude, Mode), statistical modeling tools, data visualization tools, other analysis languages (Python, R), data pipelines, and ETL

Details of Position:

    • Full-time exempt position reporting to the Analytics Manager
    • Candidate can be remotely located within the US
    • Salary and employee stock options commensurate with experience
    • Salary - $95,000 to $110,000

Physical Requirements:

    • Sedentary work; involves sitting most of the time
    • Occasional movement around the office may be necessary
    • Regular work with computers, including keyboards, mouses, and screens
