As a Data and Testing Engineer at D42, you'll develop highly scalable data pipelines from both internal and external sources and build and implement test automation frameworks. You possess excellent problem-solving skills, and a diverse set of technical skills. You will be able to dive into many aspects of our technical product, be responsible for database design and architecture, strategize on how to automate and test features and functionality, and provide support for the ongoing. You will be a self-starter and look for ways to improve the product and processes. You will build and maintain data pipelines, verify data, and create dashboards and reports.

What You Have:

• 3-5+ years of experience working in Data Engineering or Data Test Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability with ETL design and implementation.
• Familiarity with both cloud and on-prem data warehouses and ETL tools. Experience with relational and time series databases. Knowledge of infrastructure as code.
• Experience with data analysis and visualizations.
• Fluency with SQL and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of performance testing and software QA methodologies, tools, and processesKnowledge of NoSQL and graph databases.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles.
• Working knowledge of Git or other Version Control System.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with tools such as Python, Django, Groovy, Jenkins, Bitbucket, JavaScript, Jmeter, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD: Cucumber/Gherkin a plus.
• Experience in Database Administration, especially Postgres a plus.

What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain tools to increase the productivity of analysts, data scientists, and developers.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to determine which questions can be answered effectively with a given dataset.
• Work with stakeholders to model data and provide it for downstream use in a BI system, as well as embedded analytics.
• Conduct performance testing and take initiative to implement test automation efforts.
• Maintain test automation frameworks solutions and automated test scripts.
• Review requirement specifications and technical designs.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Analyze test logs and create test reports
