About the Role

Stitch Fix’s Global Catalog team is looking for an experienced, people-focused, action oriented and empathetic Manager to join our team to help propel the next generation of our catalog data platform forward. This team enables critical business functions such as direct to consumer Freestyle experiences, Stylist Fix building capabilities, and advanced data science solutions and algorithms.

You will build and manage a team of data engineers implementing products and solutions that live at the core of data enablement in our uniquely data driven business. As an integral leader in the organization, you will spend your time helping your team focus their time where they are needed most. Your commitment to applying data and technology principles to business challenges in innovative ways will make you a trusted advisor to your partners and your team.

  • You have 5+ years working with big data implementations in product and/or customer domains
  • You have hands-on experience implementing global Master Data Management with broad adoption across a range of data consumers with unique use cases

About the Data and Technology

Working in a greenfield space, you are passionate about data technology and are able to lean into your background to draw upon expertise in the data technology space. You may have a background in:

  • Modern retail data models and data flows
  • Data modeling and data object modeling
  • Big data and data migrations
  • On-premise and cloud hosted data solutions
  • Preferably product data domain, potentially customer data domain
  • Understanding Data as a Product and how to ingest, structure, and serve data to meet business needs
  • Master Data Management solutions

While experience with any of these is a bonus, our primary focus is hiring a manager with a passion for their team first and foremost.
