Meet the Role:
The Data Insights & Business Analyst will collaborate will all levels of the organization, leverage data and analytics to highlight trending and enable business decisions from these insights. Using your experience and advanced knowledge in analytics, you will identify, develop, and implement innovative approaches to utilize large structured and unstructured data to resolve challenges within the business environment of Customer Care. You bring analytical, data mining, data modeling and data management skills, along with the ability to utilize data to drive strategic business directions.

About You/Skills/Experience:
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Build, develop, and maintain reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics to support key business decisions.
- Develop and drive report automations, identify and implement ongoing process improvements
- Design and deliver reports and insights that analyze business functions, key operations, and performance metrics
- Mentor and support the development of business analysts within your team.
- Assist in the request intake process, support prioritization, resource allocation and delivery of reporting requests.
- Become a subject matter expert in various areas of business and data to be able to act as consultant to stakeholders for finding new opportunities to drive business improvements with data and analysis.
- Prepare and/or lead presentations on financial and data performance along with trending and insights for management meetings.
- Deliver ad hoc requests for research, analysis, and financial information.
- Research and recommend innovative approaches to improve data analytics, insights, data quality and reporting.
- Analyze and interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations that enable effective Customer Care (Professional Services, Customer Success and Customer Support) business decisions.
- Develop understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy to provide -analysis and interpretation to management.
- Ensure accurate quality for deliverables by working with peers for appropriate levels of quality assurance.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Act as a liaison with internal and cross-functional teams with priorities on data and report quality.

Tools:
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, SQL, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
- Proficient with data mining and visualization tools such Python, R, Power BI.
- Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office products or equivalent software and the ability to learn corporate software programs.
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce would be an asset.

Education/Experience:
- Proven experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in mathematics, engineering, statistics, economics, data science or related field. Master’s degree would be an asset.
- Seasoned work experience with data science, predictive and advanced analytics, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction, with the ability to coordinate complex activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with variety of customers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
