Position Summary
 
Reporting to the Head of HR Systems & Analytics, the People Analytics Specialist will be accountable for providing data analysis and interpretation. Acts as subject matter expert for projects related to HR data, reporting, and interpretation. Provides advice for the design and implementation of data collection tools and processes.


Key Responsibilities
 
Data Reporting & Analysis
·       Provide reports on HR Programs.
·       Develop appropriate HR Dashboards.
·       Create compelling interpretations of HR data to support program development.
·       Proactively identify trends and gaps in HR data to inform program decision making.
·       Promote the datafication of HR programs and processes.
 
Data Integrity
·       Ensure data quality and integrity is maintained across all HR systems.
·       Proactively cleans employment data and test against other systems to ensure business needs across the organization are being met.
·       Create and enforce data validation processes.
 
Process Optimization
·       Partner with stakeholders to advise on, document and digitize HR business processes.
·       Continuously review existing processes for efficiencies and effectiveness.
·       Recommend and implement changes to improve functionality.
 
Systems
·       Asist in the review and selection of HR Technology, advising on program compatibility.
·       Contribute to the configuration of HR Technology to ensure end user acceptance.
·       Contribute to testing of HR Technology during UAT phases.

Required Experience

    • Experience providing data and analysis support for HR Programs.
    • Experience with HR Systems - SuccessFactors and Ceridian specifically in HR Management is an asset.
    • Experience standardizing reporting within HR.
    • Advanced computer skills specifically Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.), Word and PowerPoint.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
    • Ability to interact with internal clients to gather and clarify business system requirements, and translate these requirements into an ad-hoc report or a specification document.
    • Team player with well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of duties.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal business communication.
