We are hiring engineers and data scientists to prototype, explore, and experiment with the future of education on our advance development team. Examples of our projects include:

- Using NLP to generate quiz material from course content

- Predicting student success and alerting educators when a student is at-risk

- Prompting students when they are likely to forget an upcoming assignment

- Providing verifiable credentials to students for completed certifications or acquired skills

What you will do

Work with our product strategy team to identify areas of focus
Research possible solutions and build proof-of-concept models
Evangelize new technology and approaches in our engineering organization
Demo prototype solutions and write informal research papers for internal stakeholders

What we look for

Experience with ML tools in Python or R
Ability to solve complex problems requiring in-depth analysis and research
Previous experience building models that rely on large datasets
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for learning and professional development
Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
