We are hiring engineers and data scientists to prototype, explore, and experiment with the future of education on our advance development team. Examples of our projects include:
- Using NLP to generate quiz material from course content
- Predicting student success and alerting educators when a student is at-risk
- Prompting students when they are likely to forget an upcoming assignment
- Providing verifiable credentials to students for completed certifications or acquired skills
What you will do
- Work with our product strategy team to identify areas of focus
- Research possible solutions and build proof-of-concept models
- Evangelize new technology and approaches in our engineering organization
- Demo prototype solutions and write informal research papers for internal stakeholders
What we look for
- Experience with ML tools in Python or R
- Ability to solve complex problems requiring in-depth analysis and research
- Previous experience building models that rely on large datasets
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for learning and professional development
- Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
