The People Analytics team is a new and rapidly growing function within the People organization. We are using analytics and data science to help DK employees work better, be more engaged and reach their full potential.  We are searching for a data scientist who is a self-starter, creative, and passionate about conducting impactful applied research.

Our rapid growth and global expansion presents an opportunity for driving efficiencies across the business, especially for our most valuable asset - our people. In this role, you will leverage advanced quantitative methods to derive actionable insights and make related programmatic recommendations. You’ll focus on key People Analytics opportunity areas such as - performance, productivity, organizational effectiveness and quality of hire.

What you’ll do as Data Scientist, People Analytics:

  • Generate new insights using large data and make recommendations on additional data collection

  • Conduct research and build predictive models for the integral points in the employee lifecycle.

  • Translate stakeholder needs into analytical requirements through close collaboration with the People team leaders.

  • Communicate key insights and recommendations to executive leaders across the organization.

  • Be a thought-leader on the People team by elevating analytical knowledge and maturity across all People functions.

What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in a qualitative field (such as Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Computer Science)

  • 1+ years of experience in an applied data science role 

  • Experience applying statistical concepts in research (such as regression modeling, causal inference/quasi-experimental methods, data transformation); Knowledge of Bayesian methods

  • Experiencing managing and analyzing data using R or Python (or a similar language; Proficiency in SQL 

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • Comfortable working autonomously with a strong desire to produce high-quality work.

  • Passion for continued learning and growth in the applied analytics space
