Responsibilities Include 

Develop strategy and practices to define, measure and manage key performance indicators across logistics to deliver value and reduce risk 

Partner with scheduling and logistics leadership to address metric performance gaps 

Utilizing the BI team, develop and deliver business intelligence via dashboards and reporting that are easy to understand, flexible and deliver insight effectively 

Build strategic partnership and work closely with the IT Data and Analytics team to mature analytics within the logistics organization and in concert with enterprise strategy and objectives 

Hire and manage a growing team by building the team’s analytic capabilities with continuous improvement and maturity 

Work closely with IT to define and deliver key operation logistics data from logistics system to the enterprise data platform 

Assist in the analysis and interpretation of Customer Service, Forecasting, Procurement/Manufacturing, Inventory, Transportation, and Warehousing data and assists in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. 

Assist in the analysis and assembly of data at all levels which includes assisting in analyzing performance, identifying problems, trending, and developing recommendations which support supply chain. 

Define requirements and determine feasibility of design and business benefit for analytic projects 

Build relationships across the departments and with Business Unit customers. 

Leverage modern methods of reporting and data visualization using BI tools such as ________ 

Other related duties as assigned. 
 

Required Qualifications 

Bachelors or Higher degree in data science, supply chain, business analytics, or related field 

7 - 10 years of relevant business analytics experience 

Relevant business intelligence or data analysis experience 

Supervisory experience 

Experience working with BI platforms/visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI 

Experience creating dashboards, querying data, and creating KPIs 

Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team of analysts 

Ability to work directly with IT Data and Analytics team and other departments to query correct data sources and validate outputs 
Work Environment 

The work is performed in a remote office environment.  

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, handle paperwork and sort, file or manipulate documents. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee is required to utilize audio visual programs for frequent meetings and discussions with fellow employees, vendors, outside agencies and/or customers. The employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
