Responsibilities Include

    • As a data-loving member of the team, you’ll serve as an analytics expert for the product and engineering teams, using numbers to help make better decisions  
    • You relish tallying up the numbers one minute and communicating your findings to a team leader the next  
    • You will work to effectively turn business questions into data analysis, and provide meaningful recommendations on strategy  
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to formulate and complete full cycle analysis that includes experiment design, data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations  
    • Evaluate and architect product KPIs and forecast performance  
    • Analyzes market data, trends, and behaviors  
    • Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for product priorities  
    • Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders, creating visual displays of quantitative information  
    • Conduct data analysis to make business recommendations (e.g., feature adoption, root cause analysis, forecasting, impact analysis)  
    • Drive feature experimentation, including design, monitoring and analysis. 

Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience  
    • 3 years of experience working in analytics, business intelligence or data science  
    • Expertise in manipulating large datasets through SQL, presenting data through    data visualization (e.g., Tableau) and using statistics to arrive at an answer  
    • Experience with statistical packages (e.g., R)  
    • Experience with designing and analyzing A/B testing experiments  
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
    • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities 

Preferred Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science or similar technical discipline  
    • 5+ years of experience working in analytics, business intelligence or data science  
    • Experience with Programming and/or Scripting Languages (e.g., Python, Java)  
    • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)  
    • Experience operating in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment with a proven ability to maintain composure in high pressure situations
    • Passion for technology, curiosity to dive deep into Swiftly’s suite of technical products and commitment to learning and expanding technical knowledge
