About this Role

Arkestro is the only Predictive Procurement Orchestration platform built to deliver predictable cost savings on autopilot. Arkestro is at an exciting stage of growth. Our Data Services Manager role is a critical team member within our Data Team, working side-by-side with our Services team and our customers to connect their existing procurement systems and spend data to our Procurement Data Lake. The Data Services Manager will be responsible for managing data transfer, onboarding, storage and all associated fast time-to-value data products built on top of this data. This role will require that you become an expert on how to speak to customers about the value data drives in all aspects of their spend through their existing procurement platforms such as Ariba, SAP, and Coupa to support the automated procurement processes of the Arkestro platform. In this role, you will work closely with our internal product, machine learning and development teams to architect solutions to enable a customer to achieve the effectiveness and efficiency provided by Arkestro’s predictive platform. In addition, you will be one of the founding members of the services side of the Data Team and therefore have an opportunity to grow and mentor the team.

Responsibilities

    • Manage successful delivery of implementation data projects
    • Manage customer expectations and work with Arkestro / Customer project managers to meet project timeline and quality obligations
    • Manage and mentor other Arkestro Data teammates and outside Partners to successfully deliver data product solutions
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers’ IT, Analytics, Finance, and Operations functions and their executive sponsors around their data
    • Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off client site
    • Detect, diagnose, and resolve customer data quality issues in reporting and machine learning
    • Proactively identify and implement process improvements. Be willing to challenge the status quo with new ideas and solutions
    • Work closely with customers’ data and analytics team members in setting requirements for Arkestro to utilize customer data warehouses
    • Manage product requirements given to the rest of the product team around Data solutions.

Necessary Qualifications

    • 5+ years of overall experience managing technical engagements with customers
    • Experience with a project management tool like Asana
    • 2+ years of communicating with customer around a SaaS product
    • Experience managing and mentoring analyst teams
    • Proven experience deriving real world dollar value from technical solutions
    • Hands-on experience with customer data in Excel
    • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud host stack
    • Strong understanding of web technologies
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

    • Data Analytics Programming Language Experience: Python, R
    • Data Studio experience: Dataiku, DataRobot, Databricks, Tableau, PowerBI
    • Experience with one or more Finance and Procurement functional areas (e.g. Procure to Order, Procure to Pay, Expenses, Accounts Payable)
    • ERP Domain Knowledge: SAP / PeopleSoft / ORACLE
    • Proficient with SQL and fundamental relational database concepts
