About the right team member

The CX Operations team provides data insights from advanced analytics and business intelligence to inform and assist in business decisions. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our team. As a CX Lead Business Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights and delivering comprehensive reports to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your keen analytical skills, proficiency in data manipulation, and exceptional reporting abilities will play a critical role in driving business success and process improvements.

List of responsibilities

  • Data Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with various functions within the Customer Experience organization to understand their reporting needs, collect relevant data from diverse sources, and perform thorough analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Report Development: Design and develop accurate and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Looker, Snowflake, or other reporting platforms and data warehouses.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness throughout the reporting process. Identify data quality issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Automated Reporting Solutions: Streamline reporting processes by creating automated solutions that can be scheduled and distributed regularly, reducing manual effort, and increasing efficiency.
  • Business Insights: Analyze report findings and translate complex data into clear and actionable insights. Provide recommendations and strategic guidance based on data-driven insights.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc data analysis as required to support various business initiatives, special projects, or inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on performance against targets.
  • Data Visualization: Visualize data effectively to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, facilitating understanding and decision-making.
  • Data Maintenance and Documentation: Maintain documentation of reporting processes, data sources, and data definitions to ensure consistency and enable knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities, streamline processes, and optimize data workflows to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years working as a Reporting Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Looker, Snowflake.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of analytics, metrics, and strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Must be business-centric, data-oriented, analytically minded, and results-driven.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills to scope and frame problems proactively.
  • Familiarity with database management and querying techniques to extract data from various sources.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment, as well as interact/partner with senior leaders of the business.
  • Demonstrates curiosity about what drives business trends and behaviors.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to effectively plan and manage time and responsibilities autonomously.
  • Outstanding oral, and written communication and presentation skills, particularly around data visualizations and summarizing results.
  • Must be comfortable with constantly evolving environment and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate tracking, capturing, and reporting of key data and business metrics.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses that provide targeted insight on key business drivers to support decisive action that improves business performance and optimizes our long-range plan (LRP).
  • Aptitude for numbers and a curiosity about information and data.
  • Ability to present data in a clean, concise visual and written manner.
  • Experience in automating reporting processes.
  • Skilled with analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Looker etc.)

The goal of Mindbody’s compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees, and encourage Team Members to stay with our organization.

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

The base salary range for this position in the United States is $106,000 - $159,000. The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
