About the right team member

The Senior Analyst, Revenue Analytics is responsible for development of reporting around key revenue metrics and pipelines to support sales efficiency and success.  Regular duties include supporting the delivery of annual and quarterly sales quotas, tracking results for key initiatives, and analyzing large data sets to deliver recommended solutions in support of organizational goals.   To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

About the role

  • Develop KPIs and automated reports (Excel, Salesforce Reports, or data visualizations through Tableau and Looker) to enable revenue teams with highly actionable intelligence 
  • Analyze and recommend strategic priorities, sales performance metrics, and sales effectiveness tracking methods for the revenue teams
  • Participate in sales capacity and planning analysis for our global sales organization 
  • Draft sales quotas and evaluate the effectiveness of quotas on an ongoing basis 
  • Work closely with Sales Operations for ongoing process improvement, CRM prioritization, and initiative measurability; Business Intelligence on data accessibility and support; Finance and Total Rewards on quota alignment and performance to Annual Plan; Sales & Revenue leaders for day-to-day pipeline and KPI tracking, as well as relevant reporting for leadership presentations
  • Proactively monitor sales organization efforts and identify opportunities for sales process improvements
  • Collaborate with peers across the business to improve the overall effectiveness of our go-to-market activities
  • Develop, enhance and ensure sales process documentation is maintained 
  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field; with specific coursework in business analytics required (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience in sales planning, operations, business analytics
  • Experience in data extraction and providing insights through reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM
  • Expert level Excel and Advanced SQL skills
  • Proficiency in data visualization with tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Attention to detail, strong strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify patterns, process information quickly and make decisions in a timely manner
  • Experience supporting territories, quotas, and compensation for sales team
  • Sharp focus towards data accuracy and reporting to drive increased sales productivity
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, and comfort working with senior leadership

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

The base salary range for this position in the United States is $80,000 to $100,000. The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
