The Crown Is Yours

We are searching for a Manager to join our Sportsbook Analytics team. The Analytics team takes on the difficult problems that will empower DraftKings to be a market leader and the first choice for customers. As a Manager, you’ll direct a team focused on investigating Sportsbook performance, reducing customer friction, and maximizing our understanding of how customers interact with our product. You will work cross-functionally with our Analytics teams to generate insights, define measurement frameworks, analyze business performance, and identify high-value areas for opportunity. You will manage, coach, and develop Analysts, serve as a role model, and advocate for data-driven and strategic thinking across DraftKings Analytics.

What you’ll do as a Manager, Product Analytics

  • Manage a team of two to four analysts responsible for developing analytical frameworks and reporting to measure our product performance. Example areas include evaluation of new features, merchandising optimization, KPI monitoring, and deep dives into customer engagement to help inform our test agenda and product roadmap.

  • Define measurable goals and create dashboards to monitor the performance of key product stability and customer engagement metrics.

  • Partner with operators and product managers to define business problems and help design analytically rigorous solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for training and process improvements across Analytics practices and proactively seek to further the analytical rigor, skillset, and impact at DraftKings.

  • Create high-quality presentations to communicate effectively with key stakeholders across the business.

  • Manage, develop, and coach other analysts.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of analytics or equivalent experience, 1+ year of management experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or another relevant discipline.

  • Ability to take on complicated problems and create simple, analytical frameworks.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally to create alignment between technical and business teams and synthesize complex analysis to drive decision-making.

  • Expertise with SQL, Excel, and Tableau (or similar visualization tools).

  • Experience with R, Python, or another statistical programming language is a plus.

  • Ability to work well unsupervised, with a strong desire to produce high-quality work.

As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000.00 - $204,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range and how that was determined during the hiring process.
