Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. Backed by some of the best investors, sports properties and operators in the world, we are integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform – which includes 900 sports relationships and more than 81 million reachable fans - to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century.

Fanatics Collectibles is looking for an Operations Analyst to help evaluate our company’s operations and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and implement new projects to improve organizational efficiency, performance, and output. The position will collaborate with stakeholders to define and operationalize new processes, databases, and reports to improve end-to-end visibility and mature our analytical capabilities.  

Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate to develop new approaches to tackle business-critical projects, helping turn strategic recommendations into reality
    • Structure solutions to operational challenges by documenting processes, defining new KPIs and metrics, and creating data workflows
    • Create and stand-up an MVP for core operations KPIs and metrics
    • Help define the long-term data and analytics requirements and capabilities with the Operations team
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand the business processes within and outside of the Operations organization and use that business insight to brainstorm and identify reporting and process improvement needs
    • Learn the ‘ins and outs’ of where the data lives, how it is structured, and use that knowledge to drive the creation of new tools, processes, and workflows
    • Collate & summarize business reports and create presentations to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences (peers, Ops leadership, external partners) on high priority initiatives and programs

Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in strategy or analytics roles
    • Strong experience in drilling into large datasets, utilizing Excel pivot tables, Access, or other similar reporting tools to sort, filter, and create user and Executive level reporting
    • Comfortable working with members of other departments, or partners from outside of the organization to brainstorm, collaborate, and influence decisions in how processes, tools, and reporting will develop and improve over time
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written/oral) with proven ability to succeed in a team environment and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to translate needs into reporting and present the finished product
    • Demonstrated ability to present and communicate complicated issues to an audience, building reporting tools to distill complex information into executive level summaries
    • Strong attention to detail, and the ability manage multiple priorities and communicate status
    • Experience using BI tools (Alteryx, Tableau) is a plus
    • Experience with SQL / querying languages is a plus
