We are looking for someone with a tenacious, can-do attitude who is passionate about utilizing statistics and data to improve our business. This role will be responsible for wrangling data from multiple sources to deliver analytical insights to drive our A/B testing program forward. This role will also play a key part in incorporating data science methodologies to enhance our current testing program. Interaction with multiple teams across marketing and tech, including senior leadership, is expected, and candidates need a proven track record of distilling down complex, large data sets.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead comprehensive analysis of experiments to uncover changes in metrics, identify shifts in user behavior and effectively communicate the story behind test data
    • Develop modeling techniques to improve the testing velocity and win rate of the program
    • Automate data collection and templates for all experiments including primary and secondary KPI, segmentation, profitability, statistical validity, etc.
    • Proactively identify test-specific data capture required to enhance existing data points that will serve as secondary metrics and may inform future test iterations
    • Ensure data integrity and recognize / resolve data inconsistencies in databases, reports, and analyses 
    • Support the ongoing analytics needs of the business as well as the test ideation roadmap via KPI reporting, structured and ad-hoc analysis, customer insights, etc.

Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree required. Graduate degree in Statistics, Math, Economics, Engineering or Marketing Analytics preferred.
    • 2+ years’ experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer preferably with a focus in digital data and business analytics. 
    • 2+ years applied experience in experimentation design, A/B testing, linear regression modeling and/or probabilistic modeling.
    • Strong proficiency with SQL, Python or R. Experience with data visualization tools a plus.
    • Strong background and knowledge in statistics, probability distributions, and causal inference for optimization. Applied experience in optimizing test methods through multi-arm bandit, variance reduction, and Bayesian approaches a plus.
    • Must possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with audiences ranging from inexperienced end users to C-suite decision makers.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives and execute plans and initiatives with a sense of urgency.
    • Ability to work extremely well with cross-functional teams; independently and proactively.
