How you will make an impact:

As part of our product team, you will work closely with leaders across the company and report directly to the Director of Product. You will also work with some of the biggest and well-known brands in the world to deliver the analytics solutions growth marketers need. One of the superpowers of our product is the scale at which it operates - allowing customers to interact with millions of users at high performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for a large coverage area, including driving the strategy and scaling of customer facing products related to Analytics, Insights, and Experimentation while also ensuring our internal data needs are set for success. As a Principal Product Manager, you would manage the Data Platform SCRUM (which owns our post-production data pipeline and data warehousing to support our analytics and data science teams), and oversee management of Analytics & Experimentation. You are highly technical, have big data experience, understand business intelligence requirements, have managed PMs previously, are able to juggle a wide scope of responsibilities as our product continues to evolve, and are passionate about helping companies, both Iterable and our customers, grow.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Deliver as an Individual Contributor, while managing 2+ Product Managers
  • Oversee a broad portfolio of data related products & features
  • Collaborate closely with design; understand good UI/UX and push boundaries
  • Own data schemas, governance, and quality to ensure that all downstream data consumers are successful. 
  • Contribute to the vision and design of products and features that set our customers up for success 
  • Serve as the internal “voice of the customer”, representing both marketers and engineers
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Engineering, Marketing, other PMs, and Sales to develop product roadmap and feature prioritization
  • Build use cases and define product requirements to roll out new features and enhancements
  • Provide ongoing documentation of customer demands and product functionality
  • Research industry trends to identify new product features and opportunities 

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience managing and growing Product Managers
  • Extensive experience working on a B2B SaaS product
  • Extensive experience working with Big Data, and driving the vision of Analytics delivery 
  • Must have experience with SnowFlake, and ideally also Databricks and Looker for data visualization
  • Prior experience setting-up, orchestrating and scaling data pipelines and data warehouses to support post-production analytics, reporting and dashboards
  • Experience with SQL (Ideally PostGreSQL) and running your own queries
  • Prior experience delivering highly technical and data-intensive products & and integrations
  • Strive on solving complex technical problems and partnering with engineering on translating customer needs into product architecture
  • Experienced working with agile engineering teams and tools like Jira 
  • Be a strategic thinker who applies an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Skilled in customer relationship management and working with strategic accounts
  • Collaborative team player

We’re rethinking traditional workplace planning and looking to strengthen belonging, innovation, productivity, and happiness whether it’s in an office, from home, or a hybrid of the two. As such, we've moved to a single geographical compensation band for all of our employees (the San Francisco Bay Area market for the US, London for the UK). 

For Colorado-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $191,100/year. The compensation package includes equity, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial and other benefits. Additionally, perks such as daily paid lunches and generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others, are included.
