What you'll do:

  • You will report directly to the VP Product, and own strategic analyses related to product strategy and roadmap.
  • You will be working closely with all product development leaders to ensure that we can answer meaty questions with data.
  • You will advise on and create the right KPIs that drive and measure the business
  • You will build KPI dashboards that will track the health of product areas and will be presented to the Executive leadership team.
  • You will work to answer questions about the nature of our accounts and users and how they derive value from our platform.
  • You will identify insightful metrics to track product engagement, feature adoption, upsell opportunities, conversion, and churn risk.

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of product analytics experience with interest in building an elite product analytics practice
  • Ability to understand the end-to-end process for generating valuable and accurate insights
  • Ability to convert ideas into testable hypotheses and/or next steps
  • Experience with analytics tools like DBT and Looker (prior knowledge of Heap nice to have but not required)
  • Demonstrated business acumen and quantitative thought leadership
  • Experienced with SQL for analytics and data modeling
  • Some experience or strong interest in a programming language for data analysis such as Python or R
  • Strong sense of intellectual curiosity balanced with humility, drive and teamwork
  • Ability to operate in a high growth environment

People are what make Heap awesome. Regardless of age, education, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or any personal characteristics, we want everyone to feel welcome. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive equal opportunity workplace everyone can call home.

Heap has raised $95M in funding from NEA, Y Combinator, Menlo Ventures, SVAngel, Sam Altman, Garry Tan, Alexis Ohanian, Harj Taggar, Ram Shriram, and others. We work in SF and offer plenty of awesome benefits. We'd love to hear from you!
