As a Product Manager - Data Delivery, you’ll collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and non-technical stakeholders to deliver data products such as reports, dashboards, and other interactive tools that support decision making at all levels of the company and empower Underdog team members to do their jobs more efficiently.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage the entire product lifecycle for our internal offering of data products, which includes dashboards, reports, ad hoc reporting requests, and other interactive tools
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product Data Analytics to define product vision and roadmap
  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to define problems, gather requirements, and architect solutions that achieve the desired outcomes
  • Prioritize competing demands, balancing the needs of stakeholders with internally defined goals for data product offerings
  • Champion data literacy within the organization and drive adoption of data tools
  • Manage the vetting of new data tools, and drive consensus with the data team and key stakeholders
  • Bridge gaps between departments by developing new ways to leverage data 

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience managing an entire product lifecycle from gathering and prioritizing requirements, building a roadmap, and delivering with Data Analytics or Engineering
  • Experience implementing a new data tool or experience driving adoption of existing data tools within an organization
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Driven to fully define and understand problems before trying to solve them
  • Able to navigate an abundance of choice with regard to decision making while balancing competing priorities
  • Action oriented, with the ability to push things forward to execution
  • Demonstrated ability to draw clarity out of complex, new, and ambiguous situations
  • Curious by nature and willing to keep a pulse on the latest industry trends and data technologies

Even better if you have…

  • Knowledge of visualization best practices and a data driven mindset
  • Experience building internal products for internal stakeholders
  • Experience working with data or building dashboards/interactive tools
  • Passion for sports and/or industry experience
