Collibra is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the development of its Data Lineage product. Data lineage describes the flow of data through an enterprise data landscape including the transformations that are applied along the way. Data lineage helps the data citizen understand the importance of a data set and hence plays an important role in data democratization. This role will engage with Collibra’s global customer base to come up with a product roadmap that maximizes customer adoption. This role works closely with engineering to deliver outstanding, cloud-native product. You will work with team that span across different regions including North America and Europe.
Product Managers, Lineage at Collibra are responsible for:
- Developing a product strategy and roadmap for Data Lineage.
- Leading product planning and execution.
- Understanding our customer pain points and industry market trends.
- Finding the right balance between new features, product quality, and operational efficiency using a data-driven approach.
- Collaborating with the product team including engineers, architects, and designers.
- Prioritizing the product backlog.
- Owning product business commitments and outcomes.
- Tracking and managing progress, risks, and dependencies of product deliverables.
- Understanding the cost structure of your product.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders and business partners to maximize the success of the product.
- Support enablement of the field teams, partners and customers
- Represent Collibra as domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events
You Have:
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager or related experience at enterprise software companies with focus on data and data management
- Comfortable owning and developing a product domain strategy and roadmap.
- Able to balance short-term goals and long-term vision.
- Experience capturing and analyzing requirements (internal and external) and translating them into a viable product.
- Good presentation skills to a wide range of audiences.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to lead meetings and discussions through very strong verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with agile development teams on scalable, cloud-based SaaS solutions.
