Division Overview:

Paramount is looking for a talented and highly motivated individual with strong Product Management skills to join our Data Technology Solutions (DTS) Group. Our team is an Agile group and develops reliable data platforms to facilitate internal groups for processing data more efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data products from the initial concept, to designing, developing as well as promoting, and adaption. You will be the liason between our internal stakeholders and our Data Engineering Managers, manageing a variety of products underneath the Paramount + umbrella. 

Role Details:

The Product Manager will work with different groups across Paramount and is responsible for maintaining product roadmaps, requirements, and moving the products forward in terms of features and functionality.


Your Day-to-Day:

  • You will be working with Ad Sales, Research, Marketing, and other teams to understand their business needs as well as maintaining close relations with the groups.
  • You will be documenting specifications and product requirements from your conversations with stakeholders.
  • You will work closely with the Data engineering and Infrastructure team, providing direction as to what products and enhancements are being sought by stakeholders
  • You will be responsible for the product road map and will work with the DTS management team and drive their strategy
  • You will help foresee and resolve issues that affect development timeline
  • Help drive adoption of products by introducing new products and features to our customers
  • Act as a liaison between business owners and the Data Product development team.



Qualifications:

What you bring to the team:
You have –

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred 4 -6+ years of work experience in Product Management
  • Proven work experience in product management.
  • Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to management.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development, including Data Management and Web Apps.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to articulate high-level technical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An understnading of Ad/Marketing Tech.
  • Ability to comprehend and break down technical documentation provided by vendors and partners.
  • Knowledge of cloud and data warehouse technologies.

You might also have –
Agile SAFE experience and familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
Experience creating training presentations

An understanding of Google Cloud or AWS.
