Job Description

Provides financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, allocation of expenses, ad hoc analysis for business case development and custom financial analyses, peer group analysis and internal consulting for all levels of management. Develops and maintains spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis.  Works on portfolio profitability modelling by utilizing ALM (Asset Liability Management) software.

Provides assistance in the development of financial applications. Prepares a variety of management presentations. Researches and resolves problems and errors in data from financial reporting systems.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, and eight or more years of relevant experience
OR
- MA/MS in a quantitative field, and five or more years of related experience
OR
- PhD in a quantitative field, and four or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Considerable knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures

- Requires advanced Excel skills

- SQL programming - working with large amount of data in SQL environment

- Expert ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data

- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

- Considerable knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and planning

- Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI
- Demonstrated independence, teamwork and leadership skills
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Location Note:  If the successful candidate is located in Cincinnati or another pertinent U.S. Bank location, the role will be hybrid (about three days in office and two days from home). If the successful candidate lives in a location impractical for hybrid, the role is open for a fully remote working model.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
