The Sr. Analyst – Financial Metrics and Analytics position will play a central role within the financial operations department that supports the global Aura Business Units. This position will develop and maintain tools that track and report on financial data and metrics to help guide the business.

Job Responsibilities

• Review existing data analytic capabilities and develop enhanced reporting and data validation tools to support a high growth business looking to accelerate and scale.
• Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics reporting for financial and business leaders
• Develop formal definitions and system logic for the Company’s financial metrics
• Manage the reporting of Company’s financial metrics, including subscriber growth, churn, average order value, average revenue per subscriber, annual recurring revenue, and retention
• Support senior business leadership with the analysis of financial data, including cohort analysis and retention analysis
• Direct the reporting process, delivery of results and variance explanations for the various business units
• Key project tracking and analysis; KPIs and other metrics tracked in a standardized format
• Provide ad hoc reports as requested to support internal organizations (e.g. Lifetime Value analysis / Business Cases)

Professional Skills/ Education:

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Exceptional analytical modeling (Excel, SQL, R, etc.) and business problem solving skills
• Ability to reduce complex financial and operational subjects into understandable and actionable informational summaries and recommendations
• Ability to work independently, hit tight deadlines and take initiative on multiple projects
• Very strong communications skills – written, verbal and listening
• Experience working with ERP systems or database/ warehouse tools and reporting tools, including Oracle Fusion and Oracle EPM, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Salesforce
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Information Systems
