  • The budgeted range starts at $75,000 - $95,000 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:

  • We are currently hiring a Senior FP&A Analyst to support our Central Reporting organization
  • The Senior Analyst of Central Reporting will be a member focusing on utilizing Vail’s technology investments to improve reporting, data governance, and process management within FP&A.
  • This Analyst will be critical in developing and maintaining reports to drive improvements, optimize Enterprise and Divisional FP&A, and help our Operational Management Leaders across the organization with financial reporting needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Divisional FP&A teams in the development of: (i) best-in-class reporting capabilities for enterprise and line-of-business reporting, (ii) automated dashboards for key performance indicators, and (iii) daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to support C-Level executives, senior leadership teams, and Board of Director (BOD) presentations
  • Understand complex financial systems, data, and infrastructure to operationalize and help govern the Company’s enterprise reporting library, ensuring high data integrity, reporting quality, and timeliness.
  • Build strong operating governance, processes, tools, reports, and relationships to enable quick and proactive response times in a collaborative manner that contributes to the team’s high-performance culture.
  • Support communications to key stakeholders regarding crucial deliverables and timelines for critical enterprise-wide processes that ensure alignment and clarity of specific objectives supporting CFO, EC, COO, and SLT decision-making.
  • Assist with developing best-in-class process and report design, governance, and communications for enterprise reporting and managing and executing change requests from key stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with Enterprise and Divisional FP&A teams to drive process improvement and timely and accurate reporting and analytics.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years’ experience in Finance, Financial Reporting, and/or Accounting.
  • Experience in report design architecture, emphasizing user perspectives focused on crucial data that decision-makers can digest compellingly using industry-standard Financial systems like Planful or similar reporting and planning tools.
  • Expert in data visualization software (i.e., Tableau) and can build advanced data dashboards that provide decision-makers with information efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience in data preparation processes and creating workflows to extract and feed data to data visualization software is a plus (i.e., Databricks, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, etc.)
  • Demonstrated aptitude and success in financial reporting, data management, process management, and use/development of financial reporting systems to drive efficiency.
  • Experience supporting and coordinating aspects of FP&A processes, including report scoping, building, testing, and implementation, along with template creation supporting the annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and long-term strategic plans.

Support execution of:

  • Prioritized reporting development and design focused on insights around significant business drivers.
  • Process management to collaborate with key FP&A partners regarding crucial reports and dashboards to meet timelines for critical deliverables (e.g., daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting).

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
