Reporting to the Director of Analytics – Procurement & Financial Shared Services, the Senior Financial Data Analytics Analyst will be responsible for existing Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) workflows, including leveraging Alteryx for maintenance, optimization and expansion of data workflows. Additionally, the individual will support the data governance and reporting efforts to drive better visibility into spend for utilization in analytics and sourcing decisions, ultimately impacting enterprise margins. Specifically, the Senior Financial Data Analytics Analyst will be expected to maintain the integrity of procurement and financial data assets and seek opportunities for compiling new datasets and reporting opportunities. Other responsibilities include collaborating with Operations, Technology, Accounting, Sourcing and Accounts Payable to identify areas of opportunity for report development and curation along with providing analytical expertise in driving efficiencies and solving complex problems.

The individual should have a demonstrated ability to quickly build subject matter expertise and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. - The budgeted range starts at $74,100 - $96,465 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Required Skills:
- Comfort working with large data sets preferably using Alteryx or SQL. Maintain integrity of ETL workflows and reporting dashboards, always ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data assets
- Perform data analyses using advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, scenario modeling)
- Distilling insights and crafting compelling recommendations through analyses and data visualization
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to understand analytics needs; collect data for analysis/ reporting; and advise on analytical approach to answering questions and solving problems
- Comfortable acting with autonomy under ambiguous circumstances – especially with regards to being out-front of issues and proactively aligning with stakeholders on remediation action plans
- Where appropriate, escalate questions and issues to the functional leadership team along with recommendations for mitigating actions
- B.A. or B.S. in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related field; relevant work experience also accepted in lieu of education requirements (5+ years relevant work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Excel; proficient building reports in Tableau/PowerBi and manipulating data in SQL or Alteryx
- Analytical skills, problem solving skills, and strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to seek and recommend process, program and system improvements aligned to strategic objectives; including identifying opportunities to improve training, content, and compliance definition and reporting
- Ability to assist in creating business cases, including ROI modeling, for new capabilities (e.g. systems, licenses) and data assets
- Analyzing data or constructing data workflows using open source programming languages such as Python or R
- Developing, managing business intelligence (BI) environments using Microsoft SQL Server or other DBMS
- Experience with or demonstrated interest in data analysis using R or Python is preferred
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $74,100 - $96,465 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
