We are looking for a passionate senior analyst to provide the raw intellectual firepower we need to stay on top of this ever-changing and evolving space. And they want to find the answers to all of them! This role is an integral part of the team that develops and maintains the global payments platform at Vimeo.

What you’ll do:

• Be a detective and investigator. Deep dive anomalies and trends in what you see and don't stop until root causes and actionable next steps are identified. Conduct ad-hoc analyses on any number of topics. Question everything.
• Be an experimenter and tinkerer. Adjust rules in payment risk engines and build experiments to validate your actions. Run A/B tests on payment surfaces and methods to maximize business objectives, deliver fantastic customer experiences, and reduce payment fraud.
• Be the master of records. Develop and continuously monitor meaningful reporting on the customer payment journey and friction in the flow of payments. Define metrics for success and create and analyze dashboards for key operational metrics. Seek out new and improved data for better insight discovery. Monitor payments performance.
• Be an accomplished strategic storyteller. Build and deliver compelling narratives for a diverse range of audiences.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• 5+ years of quantitative analytical experience, including the ability to analyze hard data, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations.
• Comfortable with a wide array of analytical tools such as Looker and other big data solutions.
• Enthusiasm for data-driven problem solving.
• Passionate about the details and ensuring reports are easy to digest, complete, accurate, and meaningful.
• Operational knowledge of payments processing protocols and platforms, with experience with chargebacks and payments fraud.
• Proven self-starter with a bias for action, who can both execute and strategize, and who is comfortable with ambiguity.
• Polished communication skills.
