Vimeo is looking for a passionate Sr. Product Analyst to join our team!

The ideal candidate loves exploring what is not yet known and of real value. You are able to look at the big picture and at the same time go down to the details. You articulate the right product questions and can see different angles of a product or business opportunity. You will work to optimally turn business questions into data analytics and provide meaningful strategy recommendations!

What you’ll do:

• Conduct data analysis of complex data sets to proactively provide actionable insights for our product and company strategy.
• Design, build, and maintain product-related reports and dashboards for various roles.
• Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
• Cross-functional collaboration to formulate and complete full cycle analysis, including writing data model specifications, data collection, analysis, and ongoing scaled results
• Design experiments to test the validity of hypotheses about product and user experience optimization.
• Act as an analytical point of contact for stakeholders for all product data related matters

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• 3+ years of experience as a data/product analyst - articulating product questions, pulling data from datasets, and using statistics to arrive at an answer
• Excellent hands-on SQL skills.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (Looker, Amplitude)
• Ability to turn large amounts of ambiguous data into a concise, meaningful story
• Knowledge of concepts in quantitative user behavior analysis - segmentation, trends, cohorts, churn, lifetime value
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Math, Statistics, Science/Data Systems Management or equivalent background.

Bonus points:

• Python, R, or any other scripting language
• Experience building analytics outputs from scratch
