What You'll Be Doing:
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to define the data elements and data structure that should be leveraged to enable our finance team and other business units to confidently track their performance
- Design, implement, and support platforms that provide business teams ad-hoc access to large datasets. This includes building data visualization tools for non-tech business users, defining new KPIs, and make recommendations in building out Truepill’s data lake
- Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
- Develop and own production tables for reporting metrics and ad-hoc analyses. These tables will need to meet the SLA requirements of the business and uphold impeccable data integrity
- Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions and develop a close collaboration with technology partners to strengthen alignment between business data applications, implications, and technical architecture
- Standardize data and report consumption across all customer groups
- Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve the operational and quality metrics
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or other related degree
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics or similar quantitative work
- Excellent SQL skills and fluency in Python
- Proficient with Tableau and Data Visualizations
- Strong quantitative abilities and problem-solving skills
- An eye for compelling data visualization and extensive experience with related tools (Looker, Tableau, Mode)
- Detail-oriented, able to clean data and understand good data practices
- Able to work both independently and cross-functionally
- Experience building robust financial models and implementing thorough data validation checks
- Experience cross-collaborating with business/tech teams and key stakeholders, owning and generating reporting, and being accountable for meeting SLAs
- Experience joining/consolidating disparate data sources is a plus
- Experience in the full data pipeline from extraction to grooming, modeling, loading, and dashboard creation/BI and in scaling and optimizing pipelines
