Role Summary: We are seeking a Business Analyst to join Yahoo’s Home Ecosystem team. Working directly with executive leadership, this person will help drive financial modeling, industry research and business evaluations. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of sophisticated modeling methodologies, strategic planning and evolving market dynamics, with a commitment to driving growth while staying ahead of the rapidly changing tech landscape. They must be a tactical thinker and an exceptional “doer,” with a proven track record of executing in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with C-level leadership to execute on critical corporate strategy
Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support business planning, marketing sizing and new ventures
Manage the process of raw data collection, analysis and visualization
Conduct in-depth competitive research related to industry trends and market dynamics
Provide financial guidance and recommendations to support key initiatives and investment decisions
Prepare and deliver clear and concise presentations to leadership, communicating strategic concepts, findings and recommendations
Assist in the ongoing development and refinement of the company's long-term strategic plans, ensuring alignment with high-level goals and objectives
Work on special projects and ad-hoc analyses for emerging challenges or opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed, including legal, finance and operations
Qualifications:
MBA or a graduate degree in a quantitative field
3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate development or a related focus; top-tier consulting firm is a plus
Proficient in building and maintaining complex financial models, with knowledge of relevant tools and techniques
Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
An analytical mindset with a critical eye for the bigger picture
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Candidate must be in Eastern Time Zone

The compensation for this position ranges from $84,750.00 - $176,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
