At Domestika we are hiring a Senior Data Analyst/Scientist - Remote - Time Zone GMT, GMT +1 and GMT +2.

Would you like to join the team that keeps improving the learning experience and engagement in our creative Community?

At Domestika, we are creating an environment where data analysis is a driving force for our decisions and strategies. In our organization, our Analysts work closely with decision-makers to create and measure real impact.

Where will you land?

You will join our newly created Product Data team and collaborate on adapting your workplace and toolset. As a Senior Data Analyst/Scientist, you will work with Data every day, finding ways to interpret it so that it makes sense for our users.

What do we expect from you:

We are looking for people that can explain the insights and communicate them effectively. We believe in a Senior Analyst/Scientist as somebody that has good technical skills to work with SQL queries and Python notebooks.

Either during or after performing those technical tasks, the Senior Analyst/Scientist will expose its findings to second opinions and peer review and will humbly accept all the ideas that can drive to a better understanding and impact.

After this is done we want you to translate those results into insights and answers (even if there’s none) to whoever asked him, iterate on further questions, propose further research and improvements on the data we’re gathering, the processes we follow or anything you think it can help improve our efforts.

Who will you be working with:

You’ll not be alone, there’s an amazing team of Data Engineers that have built a great data stack and will help you in finding, extracting and cleaning the data you need. Whenever you need to automate or move something outside of the data laboratory, they can help you.

On the other side, you will drive impact by virtually sitting next to our business users and helping them to understand anything they need.

For your day-to-day life, a Lead Data Analyst will help you on connecting the dots: who to talk with, what are the top priorities, your duties as part of the Product Data team, and whatever it takes you to work at your best.

What can help you to reach those goals:

We are particularly interested in profiles with proven experience in the following areas/topics:

  • A/B testing (experimentation) and/or causal inference applicable to product management.
  • E-learning environments and communities of practice/interest.
  • E-commerce sites.
