About the Role:
As a Senior Data Engineer you will be part of the core data team building out world class data models and pipelines that feed our Data Science and analytics team at the company. You will be working on the intersection of all data streams in the company from our IOT data consuming 100s of thousands of data points per minute to our sales and marketing data. You will partner closely with both the Data Science as well as the Strategic Analytics teams. We are seeking strong team players who thrive on innovation and continuous improvement. What You'll Do:
- Build data pipelines based on product data
- Architect and design data models in collaboration with data teams
- Communicate effectively across multiple teams and projects.
- Actively work on deploying Data Ops into KT, driving the most robust data models using the latest tools in the market
- You will be working with airflow, aws, great expectations and table creation frameworks similar to dbt.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Math, Economics, or Statistics
- 5+ years experience in Data Engineering, including experience building modeled tables
- Solid communication, collaboration, and people skills
- Expertise in SQL and Python
- Experience working with marketing data is a big plus
- Willingness to learn new technologies
