Position Summary:
As the Senior Data Scientist/Informaticist on the Decision Intelligence Platform Team, you will lead Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics Vision, Strategy and Roadmap for our Decision Intelligence Platform Systems and Packaged Insights. Your direct customers will be Product Leadership and your indirect customers will be end users, engineering, and technologists. You will play an instrumental role in enabling the organization to bring new analytics solutions to market that transform the way healthcare is provided.
This is a highly collaborative and influential role, where you will be responsible for defining and operationalizing analytics for use across Acute & Payer and Post-Acute markets. You are data and insight driven, passionate about solving complex problems, and you have a proven track record of aligning cross-functional teams towards common goals.
In this role, you will drive the development of analytics algorithms and visualizations and solutions that fuel descriptive, predictive and prescriptive solutions, spanning business intelligence (packaged & self service reporting), workflow integration, and advanced technologies such as simulation and AI/ML.
What you will be doing:
· Leading the vision, strategy, and execution for predictive and prescriptive analytics, including but not limited to
· Exploratory analysis for meaningful analytics, aligned to product and corporate vision
· Contextualization of analytics for client and end user decisioning
· Development of reusable algorithms, to be codified in workflow, packaged insights, etc.
· Establishment of visualization standards
· Integrated roadmap, reflecting statistical models, AI/ML, simulation and other methods to drive client value
· Building and managing strategic relationships with internal product consumers, Go-To-Market teams, and external stakeholders
· Prioritizing and synthesizing research into clear, actionable analytics strategy and building consensus around the strategy with senior leadership
· Communicating roadmap and strategy to all stakeholders to align on outcomes
· Collaborating with Product Managers to measure success and value of analytics through pilot and in-market
· Working with marketing and sales to build analytics marketing, positioning and messaging
· Working with product, implementation and operational teams to ensure customer success
· Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure analytics are an integral part of an overall product delivery strategy
What you bring to the team:
· Senior level Analytics and Informatics experience, preferably in a Product environment
· Demonstrable success in healthcare analytics, informatics or business intelligence, spanning descriptive, predictive and prescriptive
· Familiarity with Workflow integration, Decision Science, Digital Twins, Simulation
· Proven track record presenting analytics for consumption by end users
· Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and stakeholders, and influence teams towards a single, cohesive vision
· Experience managing analytics projects through the entire lifecycle, idea through operationalization
· Experience within an Agile/Scrum environment
· High adaptability or experience in an incubation or "startup" culture
· Strong listening, communication, collaboration and presentation capabilities
· Preference for some experience or familiarity with the cross-continuum challenges in the healthcare and interoperability market
· Master’s Degree in statistics, data science, informatics or related field
· Experience with business and/or healthcare settings
