We are seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead a team of data engineers. This role reports to our Director of Data Engineering and is responsible above all for FBG having trustworthy, highly available data. Executing this will entail hiring a team, designing processes and building partnerships across the engineering department and the rest of the company to understand what data sources are needed, how they’ll be used, and how we can be confident in them.

Qualifications:
- Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming and the sports betting industry
- Help hire and grow out a best in class data engineering team
- Develop processes to integrate data sources into a cohesive data model to support a variety of use cases
develop systems and process to identify data quality issues and resolve them, as well as monitor data quality overall
- Deliver the data sets needed to complete periodic regulatory reporting requirements
work with data platform and data leadership to define and operate a data governance program
provide leadership within the data organization, especially among engineers
contribute to key data infrastructure decision making and ongoing forecasting/maintenance
build strong relationships inside and beyond engineering

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, in a continuous delivery environment.
- Strong data skills including data sourcing, processing and storage
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with other engineering teams and implement appropriate tools and practices that will enable endurance and scale for our data products
- Experience managing engineers, overseeing large and complex technology and processes.
- Strong executive presentation and communication skills.
ability to represent Data needs and practices to other engineering domains
- Experience with data tech stack: warehousing, unstructured storage and compute, BI tools, data science models and model management, experimentation
- Excellent influencing, prioritization and problem resolution skills
- Positive and flexible attitude to work in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to embrace new initiatives.
