Overview

Bungie is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager who has experience working with enterprise data oriented systems, engineers, analysts, and scientists. In this role, you will help build and maintain large scale data platforms for various studio products, establish solid data security and regulation policies, and evangelize best practices and consistent usage patterns. You will manage other TPMs and help drive collaboration with stakeholders across the entire studio to identify needs for data storage, analysis, and management. With the support of other discipline leads within the data organization, you will help determine which technology investments to make by gathering requirements and building alignment among multiple game and operations stakeholders.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive stakeholder alignment and team execution of data organization deliverables in alignment with Central Technology’s values
  • Balance schedules, team health, budgets, and resource requirements to meet business goals
  • Build, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps in support of immediate and long-term requirements
  • Foster a strong working partnership with internal engineering, operational, and technology teams
  • Consistently and clearly communicate status to stakeholders
  • Manage and flag risks, and establish mitigations
  • Lead other technical program managers in or adjacent to the data organization
  • Leverage industry knowledge and learnings to build and maintain a broad understanding of data platforms and engineering, standards for operation and management, and best practices at Bungie
  • Ensure security, privacy, and legal policies are followed in accordance with company and governing guidelines


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience working with data engineering, data science, and operations in high volume operational and analytic environments
  • Experience working in a Technical Production, Technical Program Management, or equivalent technical project leadership capacity
  • Ability to drive complex technical problem solving and decision-making
  • Experience managing agile projects, coordinating the work and rituals for a multi-disciplinary team
  • Exemplary communication and collaboration skills: aligning with partners and customers across multiple teams, representing the technical and experiential requirements for the products within your programs
  • Experience analyzing, evaluating, and integrating technology to address evolving requirements

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Familiarity with data compliance and data security policy
  • Experience working in a live service environment

Listed below is this role's base pay range. In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly).

This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Bellevue Pay Range

$157,000—$180,000 USD

Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:

  • 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
  • 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
  • 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
  • One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked 

Contract and International FTE employees receive competitive benefits through their relevant contracting agency.
